We walked from the
Hilton Tel Aviv to the Halevantini restaurant, where we ate dinner on their
sidewalk terrace. We feasted on a complimentary array of starters, including (non-gratis)
falafel, followed by two main dishes (one kabob [served with a skewered onion,
tomato, and one extremely painfully spicy hot pepper!] and one turkey shwarma,
both with fries), plus some drinks for about $70 USD. This was an extremely
popular restaurant with the locals, most of whom sat outside (with us) on the
front sidewalk terrace, although there was some limited indoors seating
available, in view of the food prep counter.
