We were staying at
the Hilton, so we walked down the steep paved seaside walk for some drinks at
the Hilton Bay Club (no relation to the hotel other than the first word in its
name). The club offers only outdoor seating, either on their raised deck (covered
by a roof) or on the sand (at tables covered with umbrellas). Service is
provided in both seating areas; however, we received really abysmal service for
some reason, perhaps because we were just having drinks. When we tipped the
waitress only 10% upon paying our bill (which wasn’t much for just one round of
drinks), she complained to our faces that we hadn’t left her enough!
