Charlotte: Explorer Lounge/Salsaritas (January 2016)

My spouse and I visited the Explorer Lounge at the Charlotte-Douglas Airport in January 2016. We sat at the bar and enjoyed some pre-flight drinks. Although the bar itself doesn't serve food, you can order at the counter at neighboring Salsarita's. Salsarita's began in Charlotte in 2000, but it has since expanded to locations in 18 states. Their salsas are made fresh in house daily (hence the restaurant name), as well as hand-mashed guacamole and fresh tortilla chips. You can add steak, chicken, shrimp, and other toppings to personalize meals to your taste.”
