Sarasota: Cinco de Mayo (March 2010)

My spouse and I dined with two family members for dinner at Cinco de Mayo in mid-March 2010.  For tasty Mexican fare, Sarasota's Cinco De Mayo is hard to top. Low-fat foods are not on the menu at Cinco De Mayo, though, so plan to indulge a bit. Enjoy a drink with your dinner — Cinco De Mayo has a full bar to serve up a glass of wine, beer, or more. Dine out in the open during Cinco De Mayo's summer season when patio tables are available for use. No need to put on airs for a trip to Cinco De Mayo — the dress code and ambience at this restaurant are totally laid-back. Carry-out is also available for those who prefer to enjoy Cinco De Mayo's cooking from the comfort of their own home. Cinco De Mayo is known for serving great food, and they are able to serve it at your next event with their excellent catering. You'll like your bill almost as much as your meal at Cinco De Mayo, with meals usually costing less than $15. Cinco de Mayo offers great food, great prices, and great staff. Mexican food really isn't too hard to come by in Sarasota, so  there really has to be something else that makes a place stand out, and at Cinco De Mayo it is the wait staff - they are fun and only add to the experience. The food is fresh and comes out fast and the waitstaff really makes it a pleasant experience. There are many places to eat downtown that are stuffy, so relax, sit outside, and have fun at Cinco De Mayo!
