Bethesda, Maryland (December 2019)

My spouse and I visited Bethesda on two subsequent weekends in mid-December 2019. On both trips, we stayed at The Bethesdan (an upscale Hilton Tapestry property), where we were able to walk to lots of restaurants in the surrounding Woodmont Triangle neighborhood. We ate at Black’s Kitchen, Duck Duck Goose, Lucy’s Ethiopian, Bacchus of Lebanon, Medium Rare, and Rock Bottom Brewery. We really liked the area, and hopefully we can return sometime in the spring/summer when some of the restaurants might have outdoor dining and when we can use the outdoor rooftop pool at the hotel.
