Easton: The View at Morgan Hill (July 2019)

I dined at The View at Morgan Hill with two family members for lunch on a Wednesday afternoon in July 2019. The View is open for lunch and dinner daily. Diners can reserve a spot using the online Open Table reservation system.

The View is located at the Morgan Hill Golf Course in Easton, accessible from Exit 75 (PA-611/Easton/Philadelphia) on Route 78. The golf course (and its original restaurant called The Club at Morgan Hill) opened in 2004; however, the new owners re-opened current restaurant in 2015. Guests can dine indoors at the bar, with tables adjacent, in the main dining room, or in a more private dining space. A vaulted ceiling and many windows create a spacious feel, accented by lots of wood, hanging pendant lights, a massive chandelier, and a fireplace. Seasonally, patrons can also dine on the second-floor back deck that affords beautiful views of the golf course and the bucolic surroundings. The outdoor space is covered by a pergola with panels that can be turned to provide respite from the sun; it offers dining tables for about 50 people and also includes an outdoor bar and a comfortable lounge area.

The View serves American cuisine. We ordered from the lunch menu, which offers an array of pub appetizers, tacos, sandwiches, burgers, more formal entrees, and salads. We ordered one of the daily special sandwiches (turkey, brie, and apple on ciabatta), a grilled Reuben sandwich on marbled rye, and the shrimp tacos (ordered carb-free by using Romaine lettuce leaves instead of tortillas). For dessert, we shared the bread pudding, served warm and topped with ice cream.

We had an enjoyable lunch on the outdoor deck at The View at Morgan Hill.
