Bethlehem: Thai Kitchen (August 2019)

I dined at the Thai Kitchen along with four other family members for dinner on a Tuesday evening in August 2019. The restaurant is open for lunch and dinner on Tuesdays through Saturdays, and dinner only on Sundays (closed on Mondays). Diners can telephone the restaurant to reserve a table.

The Thai Kitchen is located on Broadway in Fountain Hill. The restaurant occupies the ground floor of a row home amidst shops, restaurants, and houses. The long narrow space offers seating at closely arranged tables. Asian décor hangs on the brightly-painted walls. Metered street parking is available.

As its name implies, the Thai Kitchen serves Thai food. We ordered the spring rolls, chicken satay, green papaya salad, and curry puffs as starters, followed by the pad thai, fried rice, green curry, and “seafood in love” (a seafood medley). Diners can specify their desired level of spiciness. The restaurant does not have a liquor license, but guests are invited to BYOB. Service was friendly yet efficient.

We enjoyed our dinner at the Thai Kitchen; it is great to have this ethnic option in the Lehigh Valley.
