New York City: Victor's Cafe (August 2005)

My spouse and I dined at Victor’s Cafe for lunch in August 2005. Over a period of 50 years and three generations, Victor’s Café has been at the forefront of Cuban cuisine in America. At Victor’s Café you’ll enjoy the most delicious, authentic dishes as well as their own creations all prepared using fresh ingredients, herbs, and spices, making the flavors more intense and exotic. Similarly, instead of frying with heavy oils (the traditional way), olive oil is used. More grilling, sautéing, and pan-frying with minimum amounts of oil makes the food healthier.
