Vientiane: Lam Paj-Baj Ton (February 2012)

My spouse and I ate lunch at Lam Paj-Baj Tong (restaurant and cooking school), where we had some of the most interesting and authentic dishes of our Laos trip. (Lunch totalled $26 for one shared appetizer, two entrees, sticky rice, and two rounds of drinks.)  We shared a spicy green papaya salad, and our entrees seemed very local - with lots of lemongrass and woody pieces/stems.
