Sydney: Baia The Italian (August 2012)

My spouse and I had drinks at happy hour at Baia The Italian on afternoon in mid-August 2012. During happy hour from 4:00 pm to 6:00 pm, drinks are priced at buy one/get one free.  This waterside restaurant offers modern Italian fare, best enjoyed on the deck overlooking glittering Darling Harbour. Darling Harbour enjoys a glittering waterside location and abundance of restaurants so it is easy to see why visitors and locals alike are drawn to drink, dine, and play down by the water. Cockle Bay Wharf is home to a fabulous collection of eateries, with Baia The Italian being one of the best when it comes to easy-to-eat fare that's great value for money. The views across the water towards Pyrmont are hard to beat. The dining area runs right through to the waterside balcony overlooking Darling Harbour. It's hard to forget you're in an Italian restaurant; there is a definite Ferrari theme inside and the friendly staff buzz about in the electric blue stripes of the Italian national soccer team.
