Moscow: Planeta Sushi (September 2010)

My spouse and I dined at Planeta Sushi for dinner in late August 2010. One of the older sushi chains in Russia, Planeta Sushi is part of the large Rosinter conglomerate of casual dining restaurants that includes Russia's TGI Fridays, and the Il Patio chain of pizza and pasta restaurants. There are two locations in the centre and one at Pulkovo-1 Airport. The locations are convenient and prices are reasonable for the standard menu of Russified sushi.

"Planet Sushi" is a chain of Japanese restaurants that combine original recipes and traditions with modern design and the latest technology. The cuisine stays true to the basics of Japanese cuisine: concise presentation of the dishes, perfect cooking, and traditional recipes and specialties. They use high-quality products in their pure original form. Keeping the tradition, "Planet Sushi" looking to the future and offers new flavors of pan-Asian cuisine. The interior is made in the style of Japanese  minimalism philosophy of combining tradition and contemporary reality of Japan such as bamboo sticks.  Warm colors combined with subdued and soft Japanese music create a warm and relaxed atmosphere - an ideal environment for meeting with friends, a romantic evening, or dinner with business partners.
