My spouse and I visited Bungalow Beach on a Saturday
afternoon in August 2019. The Boardwalk Terrace bar/restaurant is open daily
for breakfast, lunch, dinner, drinks, late night, and everything in between;
however, the Beach Club is closed in the off season. Reservations are accepted
for groups either by telephone or on their website.
Bungalow is located on Atlantic City’s famous Boardwalk
between the Tropicana and Boardwalk Hall, adjacent to the Biergarten (which
shares ownership with Bungalow). Bungalow offers two experiences: guests can visit
their Boardwalk Terrace (either indoors or outdoors at umbrella-covered tables
or a few lounge groupings) or seasonally on the beach itself (where there is a
bar with rooftop space, including a DJ “booth”, lounge seating, beach chairs, sunbeds,
hammocks, hookah pipes, and even a swimming pool).
Bungalow serves American cuisine. At the Beach Club, an
abbreviated menu of salads, wings, paninis, fries, and hummus is available,
whereas at the more permanent Boardwalk Terrace, a full menu is offered (including
the Beach Club menu, but with the addition of more complete plates for
breakfast, lunch, and dinner).
We enjoyed our sun-filled time at Bungalow Beach.
