My spouse and I dined at the
RiverWalck Saloon on a Saturday afternoon in June 2019. The RiverWalck is open
daily for lunch, dinner, late night, and everything in between. You can
telephone to reserve a table.
The RiverWalck is located in
a two-story wooden building that was previously occupied by the Parryville
Tex-Mex Roadhouse. A restored old truck and timber gateway immediately draw
attention to the bar/restaurant. The property is located just off Route 248 in
Parryville. Guests can dine indoors in the bar room or one of the dining rooms,
or seasonally, outdoors on one of two decks. Patrons can also sit at wooden
chairs surrounding a fire pit or at picnic tables located on the riverbank.
Indoors, décor features antique advertisements for vintage products and movie
stars.
The RiverWalck features
barbecue cuisine (platters and sandwiches), although they also serve salads and
more Tex-Mex fare (like nachos, quesadillas, and chimichangas), as well as burgers
and a super-fancy hotdog.
We always enjoy a summertime
visit to the RiverWalck Saloon, when we can dine al fresco.
