My spouse and I dined for dinner at DB Bistro Moderne early on a Sunday evening in November 2007. We had tried to dine at Craft that night, but when we were locked out (literally), we went to DB Bistro instead, where we were treated wonderfully in contrast to our experience at Craft. Thus began our interest in chef-owner Daniel Boulud. db Bistro Moderne opened in 2001.
